How to transfer backpacking fuel

Step 1

Place receiving canister in the freezer. Place sending canister in the sun.

Step 2

Wait 5 minutes.

Step 3

Thread canisters onto FlipFuel device. Receiving canister on top (“IN”) side, sending canister on bottom (“OUT”) side. Hand tighten.

Step 4

Open valve to transfer fuel. Once fuel transfer is complete, close valve and detach canisters.
